Feeding Our Pets for Health

We all want to feed our families healthy, nourishing foods, including our pets. Because our pets rely on us to choose their food for them, it’s our duty pay attention to what we give them. A diet of safe food is critical if we want healthy, happy pets!
Pet food companies know that it’s the humans that are calling the shots, so they target the advertisements and the writing on the bags to attract us. Companies that make food for humans do the same thing, but the statements companies can make about the source, quality, and freshness of human food are regulated pretty strictly.
The problem is, there aren’t a lot of regulations around what pet food makers can say about the products they make. And the regulations that are in place are full of loopholes, misleading people trying to choose safe foods, treats, and supplements for their pets.

Seeing Past the Label

When you look at the ingredients label of a bag of pet food, you probably take most things you see there at face value. The first step to making healthier choices for your pets is to get more skeptical about those labels.
For each ingredient, ask yourself:
  • What is that, really?
  • Where do they get it from?
  • Is it high quality and fresh?
  • Is that ingredient necessary?
To answer these questions, you need to know how much you can trust the brand. This is why I always advocate getting foods from local, small businesses if at all possible. They tend to be much more transparent and willing to share their processes, because they have pride in their product.

Why Regulation Matters

But we can’t buy everything locally, which is why this regulation problem is so serious. Labels like USDA organic are a way for brands to communicate that they’re trustworthy without having to have a direct one-to-one relationship with each consumer.
The problem is, many of the labels that brands give themselves are actually meaningless, and aren’t enforced by any kind of third party. This includes “natural,” which actually means nothing at all.
Common Unregulated Labels
  • Natural
  • Healthy
  • Premium
So if we can’t trust the labels on pet food, how can we determine which options are actually safe and nutritious for our pets?

Commonly Concealed In Pet Food

Recently, the Cornucopia Institute released a report on ingredients in pet food, identifying many common issues. The main problems they found were quality issues (expired ingredients, contamination), cheap substitutes (excessive grains), reliance on GMO ingredients, and harmful additives & preservatives.
By returning to the label with a critical eye, you can identify a lot of ingredients that may be risky.

Mystery Meat

One of the most disturbing findings was that many products contain rendered ingredients that don’t even specify what species they’re from. These ingredients may contain animals that weren’t slaughtered. Indeed, trace amounts of sodium pentobarbital (used to euthanize animals) was found in at least 30 different pet foods.
Look For & Avoid:
  • Meat Meal
  • Meat and Bone Meal

No Substance

Just like their modern human caretakers, pets today eat far too many calories, with not enough nutrients. The culprit in both cases is simple starches. In fact, many pet foods contain mostly ingredients that are unnatural and therefore unnecessary for carnivorous cats and dogs.
First 3 Ingredients Shouldn’t Include:
  • Corn
  • Wheat
  • Corn Gluten Meal
  • Soybean Meal
  • Brewers Rice

GMO Products

Most consumers have no idea how pervasive GMO ingredients are in the American supermarket — including the pet food section. For example, if an animal ingredient of pet food is labelled GMO-Free, that doesn’t mean that that animal’s diet was non-GMO. Only the USDA organic label guarantees that.
Check Your Label For:
  • “GMO-Free” or “non-GMO”
  • Animals that might have been fed GMO corn or soy
  • Images that look similar to the USDA organic seal

Harmful additives

Human and pet foods alike contain far too many additives to improve shelf life and food consistency, including some that have been shown to be harmful.
Don’t Buy Products With:
  • Carrageenan (very harmful thickening agent)
  • Synthetic preservatives (propyl gallate, propylene glycol, and ethoxyquin)
  • Artificial colors
I encourage to you read the Cornucopia Institute’s report for a more complete list of what to look for.

Hawaiian Organic Noni’s Guide to Pain-Free Exercise this Winter

It may not feel like winter here on our family farm on Kauai, but for most of you, the temperatures are dropping, ice is forming, and snow is falling. Winter a time for spending time with family, ideally getting outdoors, exercising, and playing in the snow.
Unfortunately, winter sports have some extra risks associated with them, due to the more hazardous conditions. Cold air can cause muscles to tighten and cramp, and a slip on ice could aggravate an old injury, or create a new one.
That’s why we’ve created this guide to help you stay safe and healthy using Hawaiian Organic Noni. For those of you planning to go skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, or even just walking through the snow with your family, using Noni products can help keep you safe, active, and healthy this winter.

Building a Solid Foundation

The most important aspect of preventing pain is giving your muscles, joints, and immune system the nutrients they need to build healthy, strong tissue. To do that, we recommend taking at least one 2x2 square of Noni Fruit Leather each day as an organic preventative.
Noni pulp, like we use in our Noni Fruit Leather, is raw food for your cells! It provides them with all the building blocks they need to repair and build new, healthy tissues.

Benefits of Noni Fruit Leather:

If you eat Noni Fruit Leather every day, you may be able to prevent pain and injury from creeping up on you when you exercise, even during the winter! In particular, noni is excellent at fighting inflammation, often a major contributor to chronic pain. Noni also improves circulation and boosts immune function.

Before Going Out in the Cold

Right before you head out for your adventure, give yourself a noni boost to keep your energy high and ensure pain doesn’t get in your way!

Have a Piece of Noni Fruit Leather:

One of the most immediately noticeable benefits of taking Noni Fruit Leather is the boost of energy you get after your daily dose. Take a piece of Noni Fruit Leather for energy before you get into your winter sports. It’ll help keep your energy levels high, so you can push yourself to get a great workout.

Apply Noni Lotion:

In addition, before you go out into the cold, apply your choice of noni lotion to the muscles and joints you’ll be using while you exercise. You might want to target any problem areas with our Icy Heat Sports Formula.
Our friend Melody Toth, who was a University of Hawaii sports trainer, used our Noni Lotions to improve performance and speed healing for the Warriors’ basketball, football, track, and tennis athletes. She found that if athletes applied the lotion before a game or practice, they were less likely to get injured.
Applying Noni Lotion before you exercise keeps your muscles and joints strong, prevents cramps, improves circulation, and warms up the muscles.
We also have a friend who runs marathons. The first time he ran a marathon using noni, he applied it as he got cramps, allowing him to continue running. His second marathon, however, he applied it before he started running and it prevented cramping altogether!

During Exercise

If you apply Noni Lotion before going out to exercise, you may not have any cramping or pain while you’re moving. If you do start to stiffen up, apply more lotion early and often.
Melody Toth found that if athletes applied one of our Noni Lotions 5 minutes before a game and reapplied at half time, they could go the whole game without getting fatigued or cramped. You can get through a full day of skiing, snowshoeing, or hiking pain-free, if you just keep reapplying!

After Exercise

Once you get back from your adventure, there’s more you can do to keep from stiffening up. It’s a good idea to apply some more noni to areas that are prone to pain and injury. This will help you repair and build muscle, and reduce the inflammation that might build up in days to come.
Noni Lotion works great for massage — just follow the tips in this blog post! You can use our Noni Lavender Lotion or either one of the IcyHeat Noni Lotion formulas for massage.
For best results, and to minimize pain in the days after your activity, apply one of our Noni Lotion before bed. The lotion will sink in overnight so you can rise free from pain.

If You Got Injured

No matter how careful we are, and how much noni we apply beforehand, injuries do happen. Winter sports have their risk, and even taking a walk with family can lead to a slip on some ice.
The good news is, you can apply one of our Noni Lotions to help with the healing process. Noni offers powerful pain relief, without any of the unpleasant side effects of other pain medications.
For fastest pain relief, apply the IcyHeat Noni Lotion to the bottoms of your feet first, and then to the area in pain. The 2000+ nerve endings in your feet carry the pain-relieving beneficial compounds to the injured area almost instantly.
You may even be able to use noni to reduce dependence on NSAIDs and other painkillers. Those drugs take a toll on the body, particularly the stomach and liver, and they may not actually do any healing. Many also have unpleasant side-effects.

12 Months of Testimonials from People Who Love Noni

The New Year is an ideal time to look back and reflect. What makes what we do at Hawaiian Organic Noniworthwhile? Is this still what I love to do?
The answer to both is a resounding yes, and the reason is you — the community of people who have given our noni products a true test and proven over and over that noni heals. The testimonials and reviews you send in inspire me everyday to keep up my mission of sharing noni with the world.
I also wanted to share a few of my favorite testimonials from the year of 2015 with you. If you haven’t given Noni Fruit Leather a try yet, read these testimonials and consider whether noni might be the solution you’re looking for. If you’re already a fan, share this article with your friends who could benefit!

January: Relief from Inflamed Tendons

"While visiting a farmers market in Kauai I stopped at a booth where someone was selling the farm''s Noni lotion. I have persistently inflamed tendons in both knees after surgery for a related issue and doctors have not been able to fix the inflammation problem, they only offer me a cortisone shots which is not a long term solution.
I tried the IcyHeat Noni lotion and continued walking around the market. After getting some instant relief to the pain I decided to buy a bottle and when the relief persisted for several days I decided to do the farm tour.
The farm tour was so much fun, very informative and in just the 2 weeks since I have used the Noni products my knees have improved and I have been able to do all the hikes I want on Kauai, pain free."

February: Strengthened “Fragile Skin”

“I was on vacation in Honolulu and my Tour Bus driver introduced me to your Noni Lotion, I have suffered for years from ‘Fragile Skin’ from which you bruise and cut easily. However, in my case my skin peels back with big open cuts and sores. Very painful!
I just came from my Dermatologist who was amazed. She has tried everything but with no results. In four days of using the Noni Lavender Lotion, I do not cut anymore. It has tightened my skin and the bruising has decreased. My Dermatologist said the Noni must be creating collagen in your skin and tightening my fragile skin.”

March: Sciatica Relief

“I for one had been suffering for several weeks with sciatica, and I was desperate to try anything. I started taking the Noni leather that day and using the icy heat on my low back. It only took 3 days for the pain to go away. I still have numbness in my foot and will be seeing my doctor tomorrow to investigate that, but the pain has not returned, not even on the 6 hour flight home.”

April: Regulated Blood Pressure & Blood Sugar

“I was on Kauai last year and found these products at a Farmer’s Market. I have been using them for one year now and had to come back to visit the farm. I was a mess a year ago. Since eating the Noni Fruit Leather and using the lotions, everything changed. I lost 50 pounds, my diabetes and high blood pressure are normal and the pain in my feet is gone!! This stuff works – ask my husband!!”

May: Sun Spots Faded

“I was just visiting my dad in Hanalei last week and i came across your lotion. I have suffered with sunspots or, affectionately on the island, ‘haoli rot,’ for most of my life. Over the last few years they have overtaken my body and nothing has helped. I live in California and doctors here are not familiar with this common skin condition found mostly in humid environments. I’ve tried just about everything and the old fashioned remedy was not working either.
They were so bad on this last trip that I covered up at the beach to not show them. Having been a model for most of my life you can imagine the embarrassment I felt. They were covering my back, chest, stomach, neck and arms. Well....after 1 use....just 1, my spots are almost gone. Literally starting to fade and disappear after one use. I am beyond blown away by this. This is another testament to the magical effects of this amazing fruit.”

June: Cleared Whipworm and Healed Eye Growth for Sheltie

“After my sheltie was diagnosed with whipworm and the meds prescribed by the Vet failed to rid her of them I went searching the net for possible natural remedies. I read a review by someone claiming Noni rid her dog of whipworm by using Noni. I decided to try it, and the results are nothing short of amazing.
Not only did it clear the worms, but she also had a growth in the corner of her eye by her nose, which the Vet has been advising should be removed via surgery. Since using Noni for about a month, the growth has shrunk so much that I have to search in order to see it!! Since nothing else has changed, it has to be the Noni causing it to disappear To say I am amazed is not saying enough. I have 4 dogs, and they are all taking Noni daily now, and will continue to do so for the rest of their lives. THANK YOU!”

July: Protected Skin During Radiation Treatment

“I am writing to tell you how amazing noni lotion is. I am going through radiation treatment. The Doctors gave me samples of creams and lotions, none of them worked. They are constantly asking me what I''m using on my skin and I proudly tell them noni. My skin is fabulous! No pain just a little pink. Love it!!! I wish more Doctors knew about it.”

August: Relief from Aches and Arthritis-Like Pains

“When I forget to take it for a couple of days, those creaky aches and arthritis like pains start coming back. I am 65, an active person, I have a massage practice and I teach yoga. I am already in the self-care field, and this is one of the greatest assets I have. I have introduced Noni to many of my clients who now use it regularly and I use it in massage.”

September: Eliminated Rheumatoid Arthritis

“I am sending you my blood work that I just had done by my Doctor. I am off Enbrel and my drugs with no more Rheumatoid Arthritis!! I have been taking the Noni Fruit Leather (2 pieces per day) for 30 days and my blood test confirms what it did for me.”

October: Cleared a Rash

“The products work just as they say. I had developed a rash on my hand and tried several over the counter creams for weeks with no luck then I used the noni lotion and in three days it was cleared up.”

November: Healed Torn Meniscus

“I healed my torn meniscus applying the Noni Lavender Lotion! I had constant pain in both knees but was due for an operation on my left knee for the torn meniscus. The lotion took away my daily pain but actually healed my left knee and had no surgery. I also eat the Noni Fruit Leather every day now as a preventative.”

12 Months of Testimonials from the Noni Farm Tour

Did you know you can take a free tour of our certified organic family Noni farm on Kauai? All you have to do is get to Kauai (as if you need an excuse!) and give us a call to book your tour! We offer tours on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 10am, and they take just 2.5 hours.
According to the overwhelmingly positive reviews on our TripAdvisor page, it’s well worth the trip. We wanted to pull out our favorite TripAdvisor reviews from the year, one from each month. Check them out if you’re interested in coming to visit us! You’ll learn a ton about noni, get to see a beautiful organic farm, and spot some local wildlife!

December — Learned about more plants than just the noni! Very informative.

“Saw the trees, in different stages of ripeness and growth. Saw trees and plants, worm farm and worm tea, ate a star fruit — so good! — tasted Noni tea, noni fruit leather and bit a Noni fruit, and tried the products. Good, interesting tour. Low pressure - products are available, but you can go and walk away if you wish.”

November — If you are looking for something unique and different...

“Steve gave an excellent presentation on what the Noni fruit is, and what it can do for you. The plantation is simply gorgeous tucked away in the northeast portion of the island. We had a great time there and everyone there was quite friendly. Trying out the Noni now, including our two dogs. Take the tour!!! Thanks again, Steve, Lola and Dylan!”

October — Well worth the time

“I skinned my leg on a reef while snorkeling that was deep enough to draw blood. Put Noni lotion on it. Pain was gone and next day I could barely detect the scrape. Used it on a skin tag that I''d had for several years and in three days it turned black and fell off with no sign it had ever been there.
I enjoyed sharing the visit with my sister who had never heard of it and we both bought the products. This is an activity I believe the whole family will enjoy and since it is a free tour, it''s a good way to spend the morning. There were families there with kids and they all seemed to be having a good time.”

September — Extremely interesting site to visit on Kauai off the beaten track

“In a very casual and comfortable setting we sat entranced by Steve''s explanation of all the various benefits of the Noni Fruit, as well as hearing how he processes the fruit into Noni Fruit Leather andNoni Lotions organically.
After the short ''class'' we went outside and Steve showed us how he makes his own compost using worms! Then we went up to the fruit orchard & Steve''s dog came bounding over to us like an excited puppy! But Steve told us his dog is almost 12 years-old and he explained how his pet products are also very beneficial to animals.
During his talk to us Steve told us that several American medical centres have studied the Noni Fruit and printed documents explaining its benefits in various ways. Many of these informative articles were available to us to take with us. Lola very kindly put together two packages of the info for us, one for us to read & the other for a friend who is a vet.”

August — All I can say is “THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU

“I learned so much more from Steve and could have spent more time listening to him. I also appreciated the organic farming tips that he shared with us. I am so excited about all the family members and friends that will benefit from Noni fruit leather and I brought enough home for them all to try. My husband has sore knees all the time. He has been hiking & hauling firewood & doesn''t have sore knees!! It''s amazing!!”

July — What a great learning experience

“My husband and I have been vacationing in Kauai for almost 20 years. We are always looking for something new and different to do. And, it was FREE. We saw this tour on the Kauai Visitor''s channel on TV. It was just a phone call to book a tour.
We had seen this tree with funny looking fruit for many years. Never thought this fruit has such incredible health benefits not only for human but also for our pets. We tasted the fruit (very unique) and tried their products as well. Steve and Dylan were awesome hosts!”

June — Do not miss this hidden gem!!!!

“WHAT''s GREAT ABOUT THIS PLACE:
  • Pristine Nature @ it''s best!
  • Steve & Dylan patiently spending over 3 hours to talk and share their experiences about Noni
  • God''s gift carefully preserved and passed out for future generations!
  • Hardly any marketing fluff. Everything stated backed by scientific facts
  • Owners sticking to their beliefs to do good to mankind, and have not aggressively commercialized their great product range
  • Noni products have made an impact in a short span for my ailments”

May — Tour of Noni Farm

“First, the tour taught us about the benefits of composting, mulching, the use of worms, drip irrigation and adequate sunlight for producing a high yield of noni fruit - these considerations are applicable to all types of gardening.
Next, the description of how the noni fruit was processed left us with a lot of confidence in the final product. Then the anecdotal descriptions of noni''s health benefits were intriguing. Finally, touring the farm was a very pleasant way to spend part of our morning.
We would recommend this tour to anyone interested in alternative methods to improve health.”

April — Fun and educational too!

“What a great time we had here! Steve and his daughter Lola were fantastic tour guides and both have a deep passionate love for what they do, and for the Noni plant, and it shows. Steve is a wealth of information and knows what it means to be a true organic farmer. The Noni plant is truly a wonderful thing and one of nature’s little known secrets.
This free farm tour is well worth your time and quite a unique experience. I would do it again and would not miss it. This was our first time to Kauai and I would place this tour in our top ten list of things to do on this beautiful island.”

March — Do not miss this one

“Fantastic tour of this noni plantation. Steve was informative and down to earth. I love gardening and healthful ideas so it was right up my alley but my husband was blown away with the tour and excited about the products and nature tips and just about everything that Steve had to say in this 2 1/2 hr. trip. And he was a little reluctant. After being home a few days, he loves what we bought and is hoarding it.”

February — Interesting and informative

“My husband, a friend and I took the Noni farm tour and were fascinated by this incredible fruit and its properties. The owner and staff are very knowledgeable, passionate and informative. Needless to say, we are now all taking the Noni leather for various reasons, seems like my husbands blood pressure is normalizing and his swollen knee is not as inflamed as it has been.”

The Power of Raw Foods

Want more energy, more satisfying food, and better immune response? Try incorporating some more raw foods into your diet!
You don’t have to go on a restrictive diet to start enjoying more raw foods. Just adding some more fresh and dehydrated fruits and vegetables to your diet can make a big difference. In particular, adding raw, organic Noni Fruit Leather to your diet can hugely improve your overall health and well-being.
Keep reading to learn more about raw foods, and how they can improve your quality of life.

What’s the Definition of a “Raw Food?”

In general, a raw food is simply a food that hasn’t been cooked. Many raw foodists talk about food that’s “alive.” Specifically, raw food refers to  food which has been kept below 115 degrees.
Raw foods can be eaten fresh, juiced, pureed, or dehydrated. There’s a wide variety of recipes, substitutions, and creative combinations out there.

Types of Raw Foods

  • Fruits and vegetables
  • Unroasted nuts
  • Sprouted grains
  • Seeds
Some raw foodists also include animal products like organic eggs, organic raw yogurt, raw fish, and even raw meat. Obviously there are significant dangers associated with eating raw animal products, and most raw foodists are vegan.

What Happens to Food When It’s Cooked?

Different kinds of foods react differently to being cooked, but cooking always dramatically changes the chemical composition of food. In general, cooking maximizes the amount of calories a person gets from food, while limiting the nutrition that can be extracted.
This easy access to calories allowed our primitive ancestors to have significant advantages over other species, but, in our modern lifestyle, eating too much cooked food gives us a lot of calories for just a little nutrition. Not ideal for weight-loss, sustained energy, healthy blood sugar levels, or good digestion.

Vitamins

The human body needs a wide variety of vitamins for good health, including the important antioxidants in Vitamins A and C. Many vitamins are destroyed by heat, particularly Vitamins C, B1, B5, B6, and B9. In particular, pasteurized products, including juices, lose a huge amount of Vitamin C.

Enzymes

Enzymes break down raw foods. They’re the reason that foods spoil — they’re being broken up and fermented by enzymes. When you eat fresh, raw food, those enzymes go to work helping your body fully digest the nutrients in the food you eat. That’s why it can be good to finish a meal with a raw salad!
Enzymes are incredibly heat-sensitive, however. When you preserve food by canning or pasteurization, part of what you’re doing is eliminating the enzymes that would cause the food to spoil. But your body misses them!

Case Study: Raw Noni vs. Noni Juice

Noni is a great example of the importance of raw foods, because there’s such a dramatic difference. As a raw food, noni has been used for thousands of years by Polynesians to treat and prevent a wide variety of ailments.
Lately, however, there’s been a huge increase in the amount of noni juice being made and sold. The makers claim it has all the important nutrition available in the raw fruit. But the facts simply don’t support this.

Fermentation

Noni fruit has a unique problem. As soon as the mature fruit is picked it begins to ripen like a soft tomato. Within hours of ripening it starts to ferment. Fermentation is the conversion of the sugars in the fruit into alcohol. The alcohol dramatically changes the chemical composition of the fruit.
For some fruits and vegetables, fermentation is hugely beneficial. Fermented foods like sauerkraut and kimchi are very good for the body. But fermenting noni destroys a huge percentage of the antioxidants in the raw fruit, without adding any benefits.
In order to make noni juice, you have to fully ferment the noni fruit, cutting the potency. Raw noni fruit is many times more potent than noni juice, particularly when it comes to antioxidants.
Antioxidants in food are measured in ORAC units (oxygen radical absorbance capacity). The ORAC value shows how quickly a food can turn reactive oxidizing compounds (which can cause aging, cancer, and other issues) into harmless chemical substances.
Per 100 grams, blueberries score 2,400 on the ORAC scale, and apples clock in at 3,082. Noni juicesits at 1,506 ORAC, while Noni Fruit Leather scored an incredible 340,000. Our Noni Fruit Leatherscores so much better because it’s made from the raw fruit that has not been fermented.

Pasteurization

Noni juice isn’t just fermented. For safety, it’s also pasteurized. Pasteurization is a high heat preservation method, which, as mentioned earlier, has an unfortunate side effect of destroying the beneficial enzymes in the raw fruit.

Low-Heat Dehydration

We found a different solution to the noni preservation problem — one which proves how valuable raw foods are for excellent health. We’ve found that removing the water from noni by slowly dehydrating the fruit pulp at a low temperature maintains the full benefit of the raw fruit.
We keep our dehydrators lower than 115 degrees, so the enzymes, antioxidants, and other vitamins stay intact. When we sent a sample of our Noni Fruit Leather and a sample of a leading brand of noni juice to an independent lab, they confirmed that our product was 14 times more potent.
This just goes to show how big of a difference raw food can make. The more you can incorporate into your diet, the more of those live, potent nutrients you can absorb into your body.

See the original blog for tips to incorporate more raw food into your diet.

The Complete Guide to Travelling with Noni

Travelling with medications, supplements, and other health equipment can be stressful. If you put medications you need to take in checked baggage, it could get lost, or you might have a delayed dose. And not all health products are allowed in carry-on. If your supplement is a raw, whole fruit like noni, it gets even more complicated.
Whether you discovered noni on your travels and want to find a way to bring it home, or if you’re a long-time noni user who needs to bring it along on a trip, this guide will help you out.

Why is Noni Hard to Travel With?

Fresh foods in general are difficult to travel with, but noni is especially delicate. As soon as it’s picked it begins to ripen and within hours of ripening noni starts a rapid fermentation process. This process dramatically changes the chemical composition of the fruit, destroying many of the beneficial compounds that make noni such a powerful superfood.
Within days, the fruit will be totally fermented. Aside from the lost health benefits, fermented noni tastes even more pungent than the raw fruit.
Bringing fresh, whole noni fruits on an airplane would generally not be allowed by agricultural inspectors. If somehow you got pass the agricultural inspection with raw noni fruits it would quickly begin to ferment and smell. And the pungent smell of noni would permeate the aircraft. You wouldn’t be able to bring enough with you to sustain the health benefits long term.
This was the problem we ran into when we first discovered the healing powers of noni. We saw the incredible results the fruit delivers, but we couldn’t figure out a way to share it with the world, without damaging the delicate compounds that make it so beneficial.

Noni Juice Isn’t a Solution

Most people that sell noni process it into a juice form. Basically, making noni juice means using the natural fermentation process that happens when noni begins to ripen. To make juice, the fruit is totally fermented and then the juice is extracted.
The problem is, that fermentation process totally destroys the beneficial enzymes in noni, as well as many other compounds. So noni juice is fully 14x less potent than our raw food Noni Fruit Leather.
Noni juice also doesn’t travel well. It’s too much liquid to take in a carry on, but even if you could, noni juice has to be refrigerated. It’s functionally impossible to travel with.

The Key to Preserving Noni

It took us a long time to figure out exactly how to preserve noni in a way that would keep all the beneficial compounds intact, but we eventually succeeded. Our slow, low-heat dehydration method below 115 degrees F makes our Noni Fruit Leather a raw food. We remove the liquid and maintain the 165 beneficial compounds found in the pulp of noni.
We’ve found that removing the liquid from noni permanently stops that fermentation process. Both our Noni Fruit Leather and Noni Lotions have 2 year shelf life, not refrigerated.
Noni: World Traveller
Because of our innovative formula, we’re now able to ship our noni products worldwide. It’s been such an honor to bring the power of noni to so many people who have never tried it before.

Travelling with Noni

Noni is awesome to take with you when you’re travelling, and now you can with our organic noniproducts. Here are our recommendations to make your travel experience go smoothly!

Noni Fruit Leather

Our Noni Fruit Leather may be taken in your carry-on baggage when travelling. Since you can bring it in your carry-on, you can take your dosage on the plane. It’s a great way to boost your immune system against the inevitable germs you encounter when you’re travelling.
Our Noni Fruit Leather will give you plenty of energy to make the most of your vacation!
We recommend taking 1 or 2 squares (2x2 inches) each day as a natural preventative. While you’re travelling, you might want to increase your dose by one piece, to 2-3 pieces.

Remember put the Noni Lotions in your checked baggage for the trip home. Thanks to our innovative drying process, noni is now totally portable. So happy travels!
