Noni Dosage Tips

Remember the effects of Noni are definitely dosage related whether internally using the Noni Fruit Leather or externally applying the Noni Lotions.

Recommended daily dosage rate for the Noni Fruit Leather.

On the back of every package it reads:
“As a supplement, a 2-inch x 2-inch piece per day. For chronic conditions: Two to four pieces per day”
This is based upon Research at the University of Hawaii for 8 years on terminally ill Cancer patients. In Phase 1 of the research, they were up to 40 times the daily dosage rate with not one negative side effect. They could not find a toxic level. However, they found that at two pieces per day, 24 of the 48 people in the study had no pain and at four pieces per day all 48 people had no pain. Different people have different levels of need based upon their size, chronic condition and how they assimilate the noni compounds.

How Much Noni Should I Take?

So you’ve done the shopping. You’ve done the research. You’ve looked through the dozens upon dozens of options out there, and finally decided on Hawaiian Organic Noni Fruit Leather. Good choice! It’s the best option if you want to get the most nutritional value out of this potent super fruit! It’s the closest you can come to being an islander, plucking a ripe noni fruit off the tree and eating it with breakfast every morning! But when you get your Noni Fruit Leather, it looks a lot different than a fruit. So, that raises the question:

How much noni should I take?

A short and simple answer is we recommend taking one 2in x 2in square of our Noni Fruit Leather every day as a natural preventative. This amount takes care of your daily immune system maintenance and gives you a balanced dosage for your day to day life.
For those suffering from chronic conditions, our recommendation is to take two to four 2in x 2in squares per day. If taking multiple pieces per day, we recommend spreading out the dosage, for example taking one piece in the morning and one piece in the evening.

Noni: Organic To The Roots

At Hawaiian Organic Noni, it’s more than just about selling an organic product. It traces all the way back to our roots. From the very start we strive to keep everything organic, good for our planet, and good for you! With our organic farming experience going back forty years, the techniques we use ensure that our soil is fertile, healthy, and full of nutrients. One key technique is mulching.

Why Mulching?
Mulching is one of the easiest ways to enrich soil fertility. Mulching essentially imitates the natural cycle of leaves, wood, and other plant matter building up on the ground to cover the soil. It retains moisture and creates an enticing environment for worms, the closest friend for healthy soil! On our organic farm on Kauai we make sure to continually mulch every single noni tree in our orchard. It keeps them growing and healthy, providing the trees with essential nutrients.
Try it in your own garden: Mulch around your plants and trees and you will see the positive results. You can use plant materials from around the yard like leaves, grass clippings, wood chips, even shredded paper and cardboard will work--minus the tape!

What else do you do besides mulching?

How Noni Fruit Leather Naturally Brightens Your Mood

Do you suffer from frequent cases of the blues? Have trouble getting out of bed in the morning or motivating yourself to keep going through the afternoon? These symptoms don’t mean you’re weak — in fact, they mean that you’re persevering against incredible adversity from within your very own body.
Scientists still only have a tenuous understanding of the human mind and how it impacts well-being. What we do know is that the mind is closely linked with the body. Chemical levels in your brain impact how your body feels, and the nutrition you take into your body impacts brain function. A tiny imbalance can have huge impacts on your mood, energy levels, physical symptoms, and more.
We can’t stress enough the importance of food in this equation. In today’s pharmaceutical-driven society, we’re told that the only way to adjust mood is through strong medications with many known common side effects.
But food is nature’s true medicine, and the earth has provided us with many ways to take control of our own mental and physical health — including noni, an unusual tropical fruit that has been used for healing over thousands of years. Modern science is only just starting to unlock noni fruit’s potential to positively impact both mind and body. Here’s what we’ve learned so far!

How Does Food Affect Mood?

Most experts now agree that food is much, much more than a simple equation of input/output, calories in versus calories out. The specific nutrients in food, whether it’s whole, raw food, highly-processed junk, or somewhere in between, impact how your body and brain work together. The effect can be positive or negative, depending on the specific food, your natural brain chemistry, and your context.
Here are some of the known ways that food and mood interact:

Depression

We’ve always known that mental states, depression in particular, impact the way we eat. Sometimes depression causes overeating, sometimes under eating, sometimes a craving for specific foods. But did you know that the foods you eat likewise impact depression?
An unhealthy diet (high in sugar & processed foods) is a major risk factor for depression, according to this study. That means, when you’re depressed, you very well might crave foods that could make your depression worse.
Turning a pattern like this around can be a big challenge, especially because your mind and body will most likely be fighting you. But introducing a simple mood-boosting raw food into your diet, like Noni Fruit Leather, is a low-effort way to start reversing that momentum!

Sugar Addiction

Simple, processed carbohydrates convert very quickly into glucose in the bloodstream, which your body turns into energy. Because those foods convert so quickly and all at once, they put serious strain on your body’s systems for processing sugar.
All that extra sugar might feel good while it lasts (or you might feel shaky, jittery, or manic), but there are some harmful things going on. Particularly if you frequently have a lot of sugar, you’re increasing your risk for the following:
  • Type 2 diabetes
  • Addiction to sugar
  • Increased numbers of “bad” gut bacteria
  • Weakened immune response
  • Inflammation-related diseases
Plus, when the crash inevitably does come, you’re likely to wind up feeling even worse. If you reach for sugar for another mood and energy boost, you keep that addictive cycle going.

Brain Food

Then, of course, there are the many nutrients that actually have a positive impact on mood. In particular, omega-3 fatty acids are linked to reduction in anxiety and depression. They’re also widely known to be brain food.
Another nutrient you may have heard less about is selenium. A study from Texas Tech University showed that selenium supplementation of 200 micrograms a day for seven weeks improved mild and moderate depression in 16 elderly participants. Other studies have reported an association between low selenium intakes and poorer moods. Did you know noni fruit is a good source of selenium?
In general, if you eat foods that are more nutritionally dense, varied, and complete, your body will have more reserves of beneficial nutrients to send to your brain. Whatever specific nutrients future scientists link to brain health are certainly found in whole, raw foods like noni!

Noni

One of the first benefits many new Noni users notice is a mood and energy boost. I’ve been taking noni every day for many years, and I still love the pick-me-up it gives me. It’s perfect before a workout. But what is it about noni fruit that makes this mood lift possible?

Scopoletin & Serotonin

One of the compounds in noni of interest to modern science is scopoletin. Scopoletin is a phytochemical, a biologically active compound that is being studied primarily for its ability to relieve pain.
But scopoletin has another property: mood elevation. The compound is believed to improve mood and provide a little energy lift by binding with serotonin to keep levels elevated. You can learn more about this compound by clicking here.

Blood Sugar Regulation

One of noni’s other widely tested effects is its ability to regulate and stabilize blood sugar levels, even in diabetics. This is likely due in part to its high soluble fiber content. Just don’t make the mistake of taking noni juice, assuming it’s as healthy as Noni Fruit Leather! Besides the fermentation process used to make noni juice which destroys the beneficial nutrients, most noni juice products have added sweet juices and sugars to help improve the foul taste of the rotten and fermented juice. Independent Lab Research has shown our Noni Fruit Leather to be 14x more potent than noni juice.

How do you boost your mood when you’re feeling depressed, stressed, or anxious? Do you use noni? Let us know in the comments.

What is it About Noni? The Surprising Benefits of Noni Fruit Leather

We live in a world of dozens of supplements.  Many people today live in fear that they aren’t getting everything the body needs to be healthy from their normal diet, and they’re searching for something to do about it.  But who can you trust?  How do you know what foods are really giving you the antioxidants and benefits you’re looking for?

Noni Fruit Leather is a time-tested, easy to use solution to many of the worries people have about health and nutrition.  It’s been shown to help maintain and support healthy cardiovascular and immune systems, lower cholesterol and blood pressure levels, stabilize blood sugar levels, and promote healthy joints and skin.  Eating Noni helps bring the body into balance by restoring bodily organs to their normal state, bringing you good digestion, hormonal balance, and relief from cardiovascular trouble.

How does Noni do all this?  The answer is simple.  Noni’s effectiveness comes from its exceptionally high concentration of antioxidants, including the potent phytochemical damnacanthal.  Eating Noni Fruit Leather allows those powerful antioxidants to get to work eliminating free radicals in the body.

In a recent blog here, we talked about Noni Fruit’s remarkably high ORAC value.  ORAC stands for oxygen radical absorbance capacity.  Incorporating a daily antioxidant therapy can even slow aging by preventing long-term memory loss, maintaining healthy skin, and preventing vision deterioration.

Noni Fruit is a solution that has been around for a long time.  It has been used for such diverse purposes as treating abrasions, aches, bruises, burns, and rashes, preventing immunity weakness, and treating bowel disorders.  When Noni first came on the market, it appeared in juice form.  However, because Noni juice is fermented and diluted, it is actually 14 times less effective than simply eating Noni Fruit Leather.

So, if you’re looking for an easy way to slow aging, restore your body, and protect yourself from infection, you might want to try Noni Fruit Leather, a true raw food that feeds the cells of the body.  Take ownership for your health now, and give Hawaiian Organic Noni a try today.

Noni Can Reduce Stress and the Subsequent Effects

Most people can relate to being stressed at some point or another, and it is no secret that stress can affect a person’s body and mind in countless ways.  Unfortunately, stressors can come in many forms such as workload, relationships with friends and co-workers, busy schedules, finances, illness, and family concerns.  The effects of stress are many, but the most common include:
  •  High blood pressure
  •  Frequent sickness
  •  Irritability
  •  Tension headaches
  •  Neck and back aches
  •  Stomach problems
  • Trouble sleeping

According to the Centers for Disease Control, the best way to alleviate stress is simply to take care of oneself.  This includes eating a healthy and well-balanced diet, exercising regularly, sleeping enough, allowing breaks when necessary, and maintaining a normal routine.  By keeping stress at a low, manageable level, most health effects associated with it are eliminated.

Keeping stress and its effects in check can be made even easier with the help of Hawaiian Organic Noni’s Fruit Leather.  It not only contributes to a healthy diet by providing a high concentration of powerful nutrients, but it can also help ease the other negative side effects of stress such as high blood pressure, sickness, irritability, and stomach problems.

Although the use of noni fruit for its medicinal powers appears to date back for millennia, studies in the past 50 years indicate noni’s power in relieving high blood pressure.  It is so remarkable, in fact, that one doctor reported his own blood pressure decreasing from 185/110 to 150/90 in less than one day, adding that it continued to decrease to a healthy level over the following days.

Historically, noni fruit was eaten raw to treat ailments like upset stomachs and other digestive problems.   Noni is even recognized as having been used as a home remedy for stomach ulcers and irritable bowel syndrome, revealing some of its healing power.  In addition to stomach problems, these records—and current testimonials—report the benefits of using noni fruit to help with moods, aches, and other pains, as well.

Hawaiian Organic Noni products have the purest and most concentrated form of the fruit that has a long shelf life and requires no refrigeration.  Unlike other noni products, Hawaiian Organic Noni products are made from the nonfermented pulp of Noni in order to maintain all the enzymes and nutrients, and they come in a variety of forms— Noni lotions, Noni BioBandage, edible Noni Fruit Leather, and even a full line for pets.

To help relieve stress, include Hawaiian Organic Noni as part of your healthy diet and habits.  Noni Fruit Leather is a great way to help lower blood pressure, improve mood, and alleviate stomach problems.  Easing ailments can help ease stress, and calming the side effects of stress can help you get back to feeling great.
